Qualifications

✓Knowledge of medical terminology
✓Ability to read and write in English perform arithmetic calculations and communicate with patients their families/caregivers and professionals effectively.
✓Incumbents in positions must be detail-oriented and able to multitask and prioritize work to facilitate efficient and timely care planning and coordination of care.
✓Ability to work within a variety of software applications including MS Office Suite electronic medical record systems.
✓Ability to prioritize tasks while maintaining service-oriented courteous interactions with internal and external customers.
✓Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
✓Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in various formats (e.g. written verbal diagram etc.).
Less than 1 year 6 months unit secretary registration medical records or related clinical healthcare experience preferred
