Admits/Discharges/Transfers patient and completes appropriate forms Provides for patient hygiene Provides for patients food and fluid needs Assists with patient mobility Obtains and records vital signs Maintains safe environment of care Provides for appropriate pressure ulcer prevention Performs finger stick blood glucose monitoring under the direction of the RN Completes documentation accurately and in a timely manner according to hospital policies and procedures Provides age-appropriate and population specific patient care in a safe, skillful, accurate and efficient manner to primarily adult, and geriatrics populations as indicated Supports patient’s rights and responsibilities, including respect of cultural, ethical, and religious diversity.
