As a Patient Care Technician (PCT) in Behavioral Health, you will play a vital role in supporting patients and the multidisciplinary care team. Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and/or Physician, you will perform routine and complex patient care activities, assist with daily living needs, and help maintain a safe, therapeutic environment. Key Responsibilities Assist in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care as part of the nursing team. Provide direct patient care and perform Nurse Aide responsibilities as needed. Establish and maintain therapeutic relationships with patients. Support patients with daily living activities and provide reassurance during periods of anxiety or distress. Monitor and record vital signs and other clinically relevant information. Communicate observations to the multidisciplinary team to support quality patient care. Adhere to established policies, procedures, and standards of care. This position provides staffing coverage for all shifts, including weekends. Preferred Criteria A college degree and at least one year of psychiatry-related experience EKG & Phlebotomy experience Required Criteria High School Diploma or GED Minimum one year of experience as Nurse Aide ACLS, BCLS and additional American Heart Association Life
