✓The Trauma Resuscitation Unit at the University of Maryland Medical Center’s R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore, MD is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our fast-paced, high-acuity team.
✓The University of Maryland Medical System is a 14-hospital system with academic, community and specialty medical services reaching every part of Maryland and beyond.
✓High school diploma or equivalent required.
Qualifications
✓This 13-bed unit serves as the critical entry point for the region’s most severely injured patients, providing immediate, life-saving care in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.
✓Candidates in this role work alongside leading trauma surgeons, physicians, and support staff to deliver rapid assessment, stabilization, and resuscitative interventions for critically ill and injured patients, making a direct and meaningful impact on patient outcomes every day.
✓UMMS is a national and regional referral center for trauma, cancer care, Neurocare, cardiac care, women’s and children’s health and physical rehabilitation.
