✓Minimum Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Qualifications
✓REQUIRED: Moderate level of interpersonal skills required in order to assist patients/insurance companies via phone and in person.
✓PREFERRED: Moderate level of analytical ability required in order to review/research patient/insurance companies’ complaints/ concerns as necessary General office skills including phones and keyboarding
✓computer skills, including data entry and keyboarding

✓ability assess emergency situations and work well under pressure.
✓Minimum of (2) two years previous medical billing, third party, agency (Medicare/Medicaid).

About the role

This position is responsible for billing and/or follow-up of patient accounts. Provides outstanding customer service to patients, guarantors and third-party payors by assisting with questions and concerns relating to CMH’s patient account billing. The PFS Representative submits timely and accurate bills to insurance companies and patients.
