About the role

The Patient Navigator evaluates psychiatric patients in the emergency department and makes recommendations to the emergency department provider as to the disposition of those patients. This position will consult with the attending psychiatrist. This position also evaluates patients throughout the organization as requested or urgently, who are in need of mental health assessments.
