Presbyterian Medical Group Hudson Valley as a Patient Registrar. In this role, you will navigation through our EMR to register patients for a variety of procedures and appointments, obtain demographic details, insurance information and verification. You will ensure proper scheduling, record patient history, and obtain pre-certification and authorization.Feel the pride of going above and beyond to help others. This is a full-time Monday
Friday 40-hour work week. Hudson, NY 105201756 Route 9D, Cold Spring, NY 10516Must be willing to travel/provide coverage across various Hudson Valley Medical Group locations listed above as needed.Preferred CriteriaKnowledge of medical procedures, routines, regulations and medical terminology.Experience working in a busy out-patient practice.Orthopedics or Radiology experience.Knowledge of Coding: ICD 10, CPT-4, health insurance benefits/requirements.EMR experience/EPICRequired Criteria1+ year of clerical experience.High School Diploma or equivalent GEDEffective communication skills verbal and written.Superior Customer Service skills.Energetic, approachable individual with a desire to put patients first.Must be detailed oriented, able to problem solve and work independently.Join a healthcare system where employee engagement is at an all-time high.
