✓Ability to travel to various UCLA Health locations and being physically present at the job
✓Ability to travel to site
✓Ability to travel to to work various days/shifts and occasional weekends; Days and hours may
✓Ability to travel to vary depending on assignments.
✓Familiarity and knowledge of authorization process and managed care programs
✓Knowledge of medical terminology
✓Skill in setting priorities which
✓accurately reflect the relative importance of job responsibilities
✓Ability to establish and maintain productive working
✓relationships with Faculty, Staff, Administration, and patients from
✓various social, cultural, and economic backgrounds.
✓Skill in verbal communications to clearly convey
✓complex problems in both formal and informal situations.
✓Ability to interact diplomatically and
✓sympathetically with a patient population in varying degrees of health.
✓Ability to creatively integrate competing demands
✓into a productive working environment.
✓demonstrate clear knowledge of job responsibilities; skillfully use
✓equipment, software and tools required to do the job; and to work steadily
✓to get job done.
Knowledge of major medical insurance plans and types of coverage provided. preferred
Working knowledge of CareConnect system to complete on-line transactions, including appointment scheduling, procedure scheduling, encounter registration system, completing referrals, inputting authorizations, hospital lab results and medical reports. preferred
