Pediatric and Adolescent Psychologist

✓Requirements
Licensure
✓Licensed Psychologist in the state of Texas, or the ability to obtain. (will consider Provisional License if close to licensure)
Certifications
✓American Heart Association CPR must be obtained prior to start
Education
✓Doctoral Degree in Psychology (PhD or PsyD) from an APA accredited institution
Qualifications
✓Experience using a variety of treatment milieu and psychological tests
✓Demonstrate commitment to high standards of patient care and maintain a positive experience for all children and families
✓Understanding of the impact of trauma and ecological, biological, and developmental factors on children and adolescents
✓Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to develop outstanding leadership skills
✓Doctorate
Training in neuropsych in Pre/Post Doc or studies preferred
Experience providing therapy to children with ADHD, developmental delays, mood disorders, autism spectrum disorders, complex psychiatric and neuropsychiatric conditions, and trauma-informed care (preferred)
Prior experience working with children & families (preferred)
