ResponsibilitiesNorton Children’s Gastroenterology, affiliated with the UofL School of Medicine, and part of Norton Children’s Medical Group, is seeking a board-certified, fellowship-trained pediatric gastroenterologist to join our growing team of three physicians, three nurse practitioners, a registered dietitian and a licensed clinical social worker. The selected candidate will deliver a combination of inpatient and outpatient care at the 300-bed Norton Children’s Hospital and two local outpatient clinics.
In collaboration with pediatric specialists in surgery, pulmonology, allergy, and ear, nose and throat, we offer multidisciplinary care for aerodigestive disorders and eosinophilic esophagitis, with plans to expand to other conditions. The position includes a faculty appointment at the University of Louisville School of Medicine, with the opportunity to explore quality improvement, clinical research, translational research, medical education, child advocacy or community engagement.
