- The Department of Pediatrics invites applications for a faculty position within the Division of Infectious Pediatric Diseases. The Division of Pediatric Infectious Diseases and Duke Health Integrated Practice (DHIP) are seeking a full-time Infectious Disease physician at the Assistant Professor rank. This fully clinical position will provide both inpatient and outpatient consultation services. Eligible candidates must hold an MD/DO degree and be board-certified or board-eligible through the American Board of Pediatrics in Infectious Diseases. Specific clinical responsibilities may be tailored to the candidates’ interests but will include a combination of: Coverage of our general inpatient service alongside a fellow and an APP Coverage of our transplant inpatient service alongside an APP Coverage of general and transplant outpatient clinics The opportunity to work with our antimicrobial stewardship and infection prevention teams Clinical care in the division is currently provided by 12 faculty and 3 APPs.
