Education
✓High School Diploma / GED
Qualifications
✓Must be 18 years of age OR older
✓1+ years of healthcare customer service experience analyzing and solving customer problems
✓Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel (ability to create, edit, save and send documents and spreadsheets)
✓Ability to work onsite at 43 Whiting Hill Rd., Brewer, ME 04412, and provide coverage at other hospital locations within the surrounding area as business needs require
✓Full Flu vaccination are an essential job function of this role.
✓Candidates located in states that mandate Flu booster doses must also comply with those state requirements.
✓UnitedHealth Group will adhere to all federal, state and local regulations as well as all client requirements and will obtain necessary proof of vaccination, and boosters when applicable, prior to employment to ensure compliance.
✓Candidates must be able to perform all essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
✓Ability to work per diem (as needed). Must be available between the hours of Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm and to work at least two shifts per month.
Experience working within the health care industry and with health care insurance preferred
Clerical OR administrative support background preferred
Knowledge of ICD-9 and CPT codes preferred
Experience working with Medicare and / OR Medicaid Services preferred
Call center experience preferred
