Duties/Responsibilities Provides direct nursing care to geriatric population that suffers both significant psychiatric and physical co-morbidities.

Ensuring that a safe and therapeutic environment exists and is maintained for this population. Safe administration of medication, including a thorough knowledge of psychiatric medications. Collaboration with all members of the interdisciplinary team in order to provide comprehensive psychiatric and medical care to both patients and their families It is understood that this is a summary of key job functions and does not include every detail of the job that may reasonably be required.

Education/Experience Required Evidence of continuing education. Demonstrated proficiency in basic nursing process. Mental/behavioral health experience, with focus on geriatrics.

Graduate of accredited school of nursing. Current SECURE Training or training completed within 1 year Registration/Certification Current RN Massachusetts License BLS Certification
