The Perioperative Services Quality Measures Coordinator reports directly to the Director, Perioperative Services and assists with coordinating the development, implementation, and evaluation of Quality Assurance Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives. This includes, but is not limited to, the following: supports the hospital’s performance improvement process; identifies performance trends; as well as prioritizes, and recommends improvements.
Assists in ensuring compliance with all The Joint Commission (TJC) standards. Investigates specific areas of concern as identified by the Perioperative leadership team for both Perioperative Services and hospital initiatives. Provides leadership towards achieving compliance, and/or developing suitable alternatives that will meet regulatory requirements aligned with the hospital’s Mission and Values.
