Pharmacy Technician 1 (Temporary)

The Rubenstein Memorial Health Center Pharmacy on the UW Seattle Campus is looking for an outstanding temp Pharmacy Technician 1 to join our Pharmacy Team! 95% - Pharmacy Technician Duties Perform order entry of prescriptions into the ambulatory pharmacy computer system. Fill prescriptions. Triage incoming phone calls to the pharmacy department.

Assist with online processing of prescription orders. Assist patients with new prescriptions and prescription refills. Determine appropriate payment methods for prescription transactions.

Interact with professional and technical staff, as well as customers, in a friendly, professional, and courteous manner. Perform charging and billing functions. Assist in the training of pharmacy assistants, pharmacy technicians, students, and interns.

Direct clinical inquiries requiring a pharmacist's professional judgment to the appropriate pharmacist. Receive medications delivered to the pharmacy and stock inventory appropriately. 5% - Other Responsibilities Perform other duties as assigned.
