Licensure
✓State of Oklahoma Pharmacy Board Technician License in good standing required.
✓This statute allows employers to lawfully refuse to hire applicants for safety-sensitive jobs or to discipline or discharge employees who work in safety-sensitive jobs if they test positive for marijuana, even if they have a valid license to use medical marijuana.
Education
✓High School Diploma or GED.
Qualifications
✓0 - 6 months experience in a hospital or retail pharmacy or successful completion of Pharmacy Technician program.
✓Working knowledge of pharmacy computer software including medication reordering, ADC's (automated dispensing cabinets), unit-dose packaging and pharmacy inventory retrieval systems.
✓Effective interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
✓Ability to prioritize and organize work in an effective and efficient manner.
✓Ability to be detail-oriented as required in the examination of clinical and numerical data.
✓Ability to type or perform data entry.
