Certifications
✓Qualification to perform phlebotomy by one or more of the following criteria:
✓Certified as a phlebotomist by American Medical Technologist (AMT), National Credentialing Agency (NCA) or American Society for Clinical Pathologist (ASCP).
Education
✓Completion of a phlebotomy education program or an allied health education program that includes phlebotomy education and a minimum of 50 successful unaided venipunctures.
✓Completion of a NAACLS accredited phlebotomy program.
✓Completion of a phlebotomy education program that includes 100 successful unaided blood collections by both venipuncture and capillary collection.
✓Completion of an accredited allied health professional/occupation education program which includes phlebotomy training and completion of 100 successful unaided blood collections by both venipuncture and capillary collection.
