HCA Florida Gulf Coast Hospital is seeking an exceptional physical medicine and rehabilitation physician to join us as Medical Director of an existing program Qualified Candidates: Board eligible / board certified in PM&R Inpatient focus Full-time position with Medical Directorship duties Provide leadership and direction for existing rehabilitation program Cover 20-bed acute inpatient rehab unit located within Panama City Beach, Florida CARF (Commission on Accreditation of Rehab Facilities) is accredited and ranks in the top 5 for quality outcomes in all of HCA (71 rehab programs) A dedicated group of trained therapy and nursing staff including certified rehab nurses We treat general acute rehab patients including but not limited to stroke, orthopedic, multiple trauma, amputation, neurological conditions, and debility patients Can do consults in hospitals or nursing homes, if interested Incentive/Benefits Package: Competitive compensation Comprehensive benefits Medical Directorship Strong support system About HCA Florida Gulf Coast Hospital: HCA Florida Gulf Coast is a 282-bed acute care hospital located in Panama City on the beautiful Gulf of Mexico serving the residents of Bay County and beyond Certified in Advanced Primary Stroke Care, accredited as a Comprehensive Breast Care Center, and is the area’s only Accredited Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI and Resuscitation The hospital offers other quality services including orthopedic care and joint replacement, robotic surgery, and cardiac, vascular, and interventional services.
