(Required proficiency)Licenses and CertificationsPhysical Therapist (PT) - KSBHA RequiredWhat you will doPerforms and documents the initial examination, testing, evaluation, and diagnosis. Timely review of documentation, re-examination and revision of the plan of care when indicated.Develops the plan of care including frequency, duration of treatment, and goals of intervention.Delegation of tasks to rehabilitation technicians under the personal supervision of the physical therapist or physical therapist assistant. Delegation of and instruction about services provided by the physical therapist assistant.Coordinates with other practitioners to integrate physical therapy with other aspects of the patient’s care.Establishment and documentation of the discharge plan and discharge summary, when indicated. Oversight of documentation for services, including documents for billing rendered to each patient under the care of the physical therapist.Monitors and educates physical therapy assistants, techs, students.Interprets the physician referral utilizing review of available medical information.Provides education and training programs for interdisciplinary staff and community organizations.
