You’ll need
Licensure
✓Current medical license in the state of Pennsylvania
✓DEA License
Certifications
✓Current BLS (Basic Life Support)
✓Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
✓Current PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
✓Board Certification or Board eligible by the American Board of Anesthesiology
Education
✓Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
Qualifications
✓3 years of experience in anesthesiology
✓Strong leadership ability, good organizational skills, independent and critical thinking skills, sound judgment, and knowledge of legal aspects and liability of nursing practice
✓Strong ability to communicate complex and/or controversial topics and concepts to a wide and diverse audience
✓Act 33 with renewal
✓Act 34 with renewal
✓Act 73 FBI Clearance
Experience in Healthcare setting preferred

About the role
The Anesthesiologist is responsible for examining patients, reviewing their medical history, determining the physical status of the patient, informing the patient of all risks/side effects associated with anesthesia, monitoring and evaluating patient care throughout the surgical process, and ensuring patient safety.
