Our case mix index is one of the highest, yet our measured outcomes are among the best in the nation.The PA will be responsible for all preoperative and postoperative work within the Ambulatory Surgery and Interventional Radiology space. There may be opportunity to first or second assist in the operating room as well. The position includes coverage for multi surgical specialties including:General surgeryUrologyENTOphthalmologyBreast surgeryPodiatryGYNOrthopedicsPlastic surgerySpine surgeryRobotic surgeryInterventional RadiologyThis position involves four 10-hour shifts per week, scheduled Monday through Friday, with hours from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM or 10:30 AM to 8:00 PM.Required Criteria Graduate of an accredited PA programCurrent NYS PA licensureNCCPA certificationDEA CertificationBLS/ACLS/PALS certificationJoin a healthcare system where employee engagement is at an all-time high.
