NextCare is seeking a Full-Time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our urgent care team in Broomfield, CO.

Required

Strong procedural skills, including suturing, splinting, wound care, and I&D
Experience with initial x-ray interpretation prior to radiology over-read
Comfortable practicing independently within scope in a fast-paced clinical setting

NextCare is seeking a Full-Time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our urgent care team in Broomfield, CO. This role is ideal for an experienced APP who enjoys clinical variety, autonomy, and making a meaningful impact in the community while practicing in a fast-paced, well-supported urgent care environment. NextCare clinicians enjoy true work-life balance, including no after-hours tasks, flexible scheduling, and monthly schedules released in advance.

Our full-time schedules are designed so clinicians are off more days than they work. You’ll be supported by experienced clinical teams, strong peer relationships, clear practice guidelines, and accessible medical leadership who provide real-time guidance and support. The work is engaging and varied, with a broad patient population and generally low-acuity presentations that allow providers to maintain strong clinical and procedural skills.

Key Responsibilities Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages in an urgent care setting Manage acute illnesses, injuries, and occupational health visits Order and interpret diagnostic studies, including labs and imaging Perform urgent care procedures such as suturing, wound care, splinting, and incision and drainage Clearly communicate diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions Document patient care accurately and efficiently in the EHR Code and bill services appropriately Maintain productivity consistent with urgent care benchmarks Practice in alignment with NextCare clinical standards and values Required Qualifications Active, unrestricted Colorado license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Minimum of 1 year of post-graduate clinical experience NP candidates must be certified through ANCC or AANP as a Family Nurse Practitioner PA candidates must maintain active NCCPA certification Active DEA license or ability to obtain Ability to treat patients of all ages Active BLS certification EHR proficiency Willingness to work rotating weekends and holidays DOT certification required or willingness to obtain; applicable fees are covered
