Provides direct medical care to patients during transport consistent with established EMS medical protocols and guidelines. Establishes and manages advanced airways via intubation, Laryngeal mask airway (LMA), and/or cricothyrotomy as approved by EMS medical protocols. Manages ventilators, Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP), and Left Ventricular Assist Devices (LVAD) during transport.

Administers approved medications and narcotics consistent with EMS medical protocols. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Ability to determine the nature of patient conditions and assess whether patients have pre-existing medical conditions [Required]Ability to identify and treat life threatening conditions within the paramedic's field of practice [Required]Must be able to read, write and speak conversational English [Required]Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office [Required]Education:Associate [Preferred]Work
