A postdoctoral training position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Weibo Luo in the Pathology at UT Southwestern Medical Center to study hypoxia regulation of cancer progression and metastasis. The research integrates diverse in vitro and in vivo model systems, including genetically engineered mouse models, patient-derived xenograft models, and organoid models, with state-of-the-art approaches such as next generation sequencing, proteomics, and metabolomics.
Our laboratory has several exciting projects related to hypoxia signaling, cancer metastasis, tumor microenvironment interactions, and therapeutic target discovery. Candidates must hold a recent Ph. D. and/or M.
