The Practice Manager I provides general direction, coordination, and supervision of all aspects of the Mobile Outreach Clinic and Equal Access Clinic, to include clinical operations and financial activities within the UF Health Department of Community Health and Family Medicine. This position is responsible for ensuring effective daily operations, efficient patient access, and a high-quality patient experience. The Practice Manager I directly manages all non-provider clinic staff and provides leadership, guidance, and support to promote a collaborative and patient-centered environment.
Responsibilities include overseeing clinic workflows, staffing, front-end operations, and financial processes while identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiency and practice performance. This is a highly community-focused position supporting the Mobile Outreach Clinic and the Equal Access Clinic. The Practice Manager I will actively support clinic services and develop strong relationships with local health care providers, community organizations, and referral sources to facilitate practice growth and expand access to care.
The position requires a commitment to serving diverse and underserved populations and may involve participation in clinical and community outreach activities during occasional evenings and weekends. Qualifications Minimum Education and Experience
Bachelors degree in business or a health-related field preferred. Minimum of one year previous supervisory/management experience required. Three years of experience managing a medical practice and an associate's degree may substitute for the bachelors degree requirement.
