Location Mid-South Gastroenterology 1220 Trotwood Ave. Building C, Floor 2 Columbia, TN 38401 Shift Full Time Job Summary Responsible for the overall management of assigned physician practice(s), including financial performance, operations, and personnel management in accordance with Maury Regional Medical Group policies and procedures.
Provides leadership and direction to staff while promoting and modeling the organization's mission, vision, and values. Oversees physician relations, communication, non-provider staff management, revenue cycle performance, site-specific initiatives, facility operations, staff education and training, and supply and inventory management. Accountable for maintaining efficient practice operations, delivering exceptional patient and provider experiences, and achieving the financial and operational goals of the assigned practice.
Responsibilities Lead daily practice operations, ensuring efficient workflows and high-quality patient and provider experiences. Hire, onboard, coach, and evaluate staff while supporting ongoing training, licensure, and certification compliance. Manage budgets, productivity, expenses, and growth initiatives to achieve operational and financial goals.
Oversee revenue cycle performance, including point-of-service collections, accounts receivable monitoring, and corrective action planning. Coordinate vendor relationships, supply purchasing, and invoice processing to maintain cost-effective practice operations. Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, coding, accreditation, and organizational policies while maintaining proficiency in practice management and EHR systems.
