Licensure
✓Current Pennsylvania licensure as a Registered Professional Nurse.
✓Graduate nurses must complete the licensure examination within six months of hire or within one year of graduation, whichever comes first.
✓Registered Nurse
Certifications
✓CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire.
✓Failure to do so may result in termination or demotion from the GN position, at the discretion of the business unit.

About the role

This unit services patients with medical and oncology related conditions requiring intensive care, including post-cardiopulmonary arrest/resuscitation, patients with one or more system failure requiring observation and/or active management, circulatory failure requiring massive volume expansion and/or vasoactive medications, invasive monitoring, and respiratory failure requiring endotracheal intubation with mechanical ventilation.
