Qualifications
✓A clear passion for improving the advancement of pediatric devices in the region and nationally, required.
✓Leadership and organizational skills to manage large groups and individuals, required.
✓Ability to manage and promote complex business and scientific projects successfully, required.
✓Will be able to navigate/develop relationships across institution.
✓Able to communicate with diverse groups and conduct meetings both in person and virtually.
Understanding of regulatory bodies (i.e., FDA, IRBs etc), preferred.
Basic familiarity with intellectual property concepts, preferred.
Business management experience, preferred.
Previous experience in the BioDesign process and educating fellows in “needs based”, preferred.
Previous experience procuring and managing funds for research programs, preferred.
Financial account management and funding allocation experience, preferred.
Experience in medical device project management or other related experience, preferred.
Experience and/or understanding of the regional entrepreneurial ecosystem, preferred.
Experience working in biomedical or med-tech space, preferred.
