IDSS: BRIDGE is a National Center to Democratize Multi-Disciplinary Data Science and AI for Research Labs and Communities and is a center in the Department of Computer Science at the University of California, Irvine is a core academic unit within the Donald Bren School of Information and Computer Sciences (ICS), one of the nation's early independent schools dedicated to computing.
The department combines foundational computer science education with innovative research across a broad range of areas, including artificial intelligence and machine learning, algorithms and theory, databases and information systems, computer architecture, embedded and cyber-physical systems, computer vision and graphics, programming languages and compilers, networking and distributed systems, security and privacy, biomedical computing, accessible computing, and computer science education.

The ideal candidate is a go-getter who stays on top of multiple priorities, keeps things moving smoothly, and can wear many hats — from managing logistics to engaging with diverse teams across academic institutions and research partners.
