Major Responsibilities a. Transports patients and equipment to and from departments within the hospital (only) as requested/assigned. b. Assists clinical personnel in transferring patients to and from beds, chairs, wheelchairs, and stretchers. c.
Picks up and delivers supplies and requisitions as requested. d. Performs associated transport equipment rounding, as well as cleaning, disinfection, and relocation of equipment to appropriate storage areas, based on established par levels, and in ready condition for patient use. e. Transports broken and tagged equipment to appropriate location for repair and/or for notification to equipment vendor, assuring appropriate repair action is taken. f.
