Available Rad Tech Positions:M-F Primarily Rotating Day Shift Hours; Every Other Weekend (Rotating Shift) (*Start Times Vary - Includes Holiday and On Call Assignments) The Radiologic Technologist:Performs radiographic procedures, producing images for the interpretation by, or at the request of a licensed independent practitioner. Demonstrates an understanding of human anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.
Maintains a high degree of accuracy in radiographic positioning and exposure technique. They maintain knowledge of radiation protection and safety. Prepares, administers and documents activities related to contrast media and medications in accordance with state and federal regulations and institutional policy.
Remains sensitive to the physical , cultural and emotional needs of the patient through excellent communication, patient assessment, patient monitoring and patient care skills.
