Responsible for performing a variety of support services in the main department of diagnostic imaging. Duties & Responsibilities Assist technologist in the processing of films, reloading film cartridges, restocking processing chemicals and correcting minor film processor breakdowns. Assist technologists in the moving of patients on and off x-ray table as needed.
Assist senior technologists in getting E. R. reports. Transport patients between hospital units.
Perform a variety of miscellaneous duties: make copies of films, watch patients and run errands within hospital as needed. Work in various areas of the department such as the front office and/or file room as needed in support if the main department. Performs all other related duties as assigned.
Requirements A High School diploma and six months job-related experience or equivalent is required.
