The Radiology Technologist provides quality patient care when performing diagnostic imaging and related procedures to demonstrate anatomy for interpretation and/or intervention while adhering to radiation safety principles.
Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology. Current Florida Certified Radiologic Technologist license. Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification.
Current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification. Key
Perform diagnostic imaging procedures to support accurate diagnosis and treatment. Assess patient needs and provide age-appropriate care throughout the imaging process. Verify patient identity, obtain clinical history, and maintain accurate documentation.
Position patients and imaging equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images. Explain procedures and instructions to patients to ensure comfort and cooperation. Exercise professional judgment and maintain a patient-centered approach to care.
