✓American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
✓Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
✓In addition to the essential functions of the job listed below, employees must maintain timely completion of all required education, trainings, and certifications as assigned and in accordance with Bozeman Health policies, department-specific requirements, applicable certification program
✓Trainee required to sign work commitment prior to MRI opportunity and will become ARRT Certified upon completion.
Education
✓Graduate of Committee of Allied Health Education and Accreditation (CAHEA) accredited Radiology program or equivalent
Qualifications
✓Demonstrates willingness to learn and grow in order to perform emergency/trauma MRI procedures that may require anesthesia and other MRI exams for all populations including Neonates, Pediatrics, and adults
✓Shows a general knowledge of MRI and the safety practices that are involved with imaging patients.
✓Demonstrate sound judgment, patience, and maintain a professional demeanor at all times
✓Exercise tact, discretion, sensitivity, and maintains confidentiality
✓Learn current and new computer applications and office equipment utilized at Bozeman Health
✓Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
✓Analyze, organize, and prioritize work while meeting multiple deadlines
✓Demonstrate the Bozeman Health SPIRIT values of: Service, People, Integrity, Respect, Improvement, and Teamwork.

About the role

The Acute Care Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist Trainee provides health care services by assisting in diagnosis or treatment. Will learn to perform MRI procedures, producing images for the interpretation by or at the request of a licensed practitioner. Learning the operation of a magnetic resonance scanner to obtain images used in the diagnosis and treatment of patient pathologies.
