✓Requirements
Certifications
✓You hold or are able to obtain, within 6 months of employment, a Nationally Certified Peer Recovery Support Specialist (NCPRSS) certification through the NAADAC organization.
Education
✓You hold a High School Diploma or GED equivalent and have a minimum of four (4) years of experience in the guiding principles of recovery that help individuals improve their health and wellness, live a self-directed life, and reach their full potential.
Qualifications
✓You draw on your own lived experience with recovery to inspire hope and connection in others
✓Clear, compassionate communication defines how you interact with clients, families, and colleagues
✓You enjoy building trust and rapport with individuals from diverse backgrounds and circumstances
✓Strong organizational and communication skills, including attention to grammar and detail, to help you deliver accurate documentation
✓Adaptability allows you to manage changing priorities while maintaining professionalism
✓Continuous learning and professional growth motivate you
✓Collaborative teamwork is something you value and actively contribute to as part of a multidisciplinary care team
✓You are able to travel within a 60-mile radius of the assigned hospital for cross coverage when needed.
Bilingual ability, previous experience as a Recovery Specialist or in a related role, and knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, and Outlook are preferred.
