Recreation Therapist – WCMC Inpatient Occupational Therapy – Part Time – 8 Hours – Days – Temporary (Not To Exceed 2 Years)

Recreational therapists, under the direction of an Occupational Therapist, are assigned to evaluate and treat patients to achieve maximum level of leisure independence. Patients seen have a variety of limitations and the therapists use their skills to assist patients to their full rehabilitation potential.

Bachelor's degree in Recreation, Recreational Therapy, Therapeutic Recreation, or equivalent - RequiredCertifications/Licensures:NCTRC - National Council for Therapeutic Recreation Certification orCBRPC - California Board of Recreation and Park - RequiredCTRS - Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) - PreferredBLS - Basic Life Support - Certification RequiredThis position is funded for a period of up to two years from the incumbent’s date of hire and is eligible for benefits.
