✓Requirements
Licensure
✓Maintains a current license to work in the State of Rhode Island.
Certifications
✓Must hold current ARRT certification and current mammography certification.
✓If performing BD exams also needs ISCD (or ARRT) certificate.
Education
✓Completion of formal training in an AMA-approved accredited school of radiologic technology or equivalent.
✓Must maintain requirements as outlined by the Mammography Quality Standards Act, American College of Radiology, and ISCD (if applicable).
Qualifications
✓Demonstrated knowledge and skills necessary to provide care to patients with consideration of aging processes, human development stages and cultural patterns in each step of the care process.
✓Minimum of two years of Radiology experience including proficiency in the following procedures: Routine bone density and mammography.
✓Two years of mammography experience required to perform mammography procedures
✓Ability to consistently meet the following job accountabilities: critical thinking, interpersonal skills, team membership, customer focus, initiative and reliability.
✓Compassion, Accountability, Respect, Excellence.
✓Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients, visitors, physicians and staff of all levels and display empathy towards all patients.
