All therapists will rotate through various specialized areas such as: Cardiac Surgical Unit, Medical, Neuro and Cardiopulmonary Intensive care areas. We are a level II Trauma Center containing a busy Emergency Center with a specialized STEMI and Stroke team. Our Respiratory Care department is high performing, with Care practitioners working with autonomy.
We have a dedicated pulmonary navigator and department educator providing competencies monthly and generous pay-for-skills program where Therapists are paid annually for their Intubation and A-line skills. In addition, we will pay you to achieve and maintain an NBRC credential above RRT. Responsibilities Include: Delivers Respiratory Care Services under the order of the physician and in accordance with protocols established by the hospital, other health care providers, or the board and functions in situations of unsupervised patient contact requiring individual judgment. Performs noninvasive and invasive procedures with minimal oversight.
