✓Registered Dietitian or eligible for registration by the Commission on Dietetic Registration of the American Dietetic Association
✓Certification/Licensure as required by state of practice.
Certifications
✓CPR with AED (CPR/AED) certification must be current and presented to Human Resources upon hire.
Education
✓Bachelor’s degree in dietetics, foods and nutrition, or related area granted by a U.S. regionally accredited college or university.
✓Completion of a didactic program in dietetics and supervised practice program approved by the Commission on Accreditation for Dietetics Education (CADE) of the American Dietetic Association.
Qualifications
✓Requires a minimum of six (6) months dietary experience in a health care facility. Experience in working with eating disorders patients is strongly preferred; however, education in the field may be accepted in lieu of experience.
✓Completion of Fremont Hospital’s non-violent Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) training course within 90 days of employment and prior to assisting with preventative intervention measures.
