Licensure
✓Licensed as a Registered Nurse and authorized by the State of Iowa to practice nursing or has active multistate license approved by the Nurse Licensure Compact.
Certifications
✓May be required to obtain PALS certification
✓Basic Life Support (BLS) training, or within 90 days of hire and must maintain throughout employment.
✓Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification within 90-day introductory period.
✓PALS training required within 18 months of hire and must maintain throughout employment.
Professional certification in nursing specialty. preferred
Education
✓Achievement of Baccalaureate degree in nursing within 6 years of hire if hired after January 1, 2014.
Baccalaureate degree in nursing. preferred
Qualifications
✓Mandatory Reporter training or within 90 days of hire and must maintain throughout employment.
✓Maintain stroke education per regulatory requirements.
✓Proficient in communication skills.
