You’ll need
Licensure
✓Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing
Certifications
✓Current BLS (Basic Life Support)
✓Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
✓Current TB screening and required vaccinations (e.g., flu)
Education
✓Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
Bachelor's degree in Nursing (preferred)
Qualifications
✓3 years of recent related clinical nursing experience in an ICU settings
✓Demonstrated level of performance in direct patient care
✓Willingness to float to multiple locations and adapt to diverse clinical environments
✓Advanced clinical expertise in managing complex nursing problems across diverse patient populations
✓Strong analytical abilities to formulate effective, individualized nursing care plans
✓Ability to perform comprehensive patient assessments and identify potential complications
✓Proficiency in a wide variety of professional nursing interventions (medication administration, wound care, patient education, post-operative care)
✓Ability to identify patient problems prior to explicit changes in patient-specific data collection (vital signs, clinical indicators)
✓Clinical judgment and flexibility to rapidly orient to different units and care protocols
✓Effective communication with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members
✓Ability to maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
✓Strong organizational and time management skills
✓Ability to work assigned day and night shifts as scheduled
✓Adaptability and professional demeanor in dynamic healthcare environments
