Full-Time | Nights How you’ll make an impact in this role Develops departmental goals and objectives consistent with medical, administrative, legal and ethical requirements of the health care delivery system. Directs clinical activities, including patient assessment, care plan development, service level determination, patient visits, and complaint management. Prepares and monitors budget(s) and ensures that the assigned nursing area operates within allocated funds.
Coordinates and directs internally and externally-driven audits. Works collaboratively with physicians, administration and directors to develop streamlined operations where equipment, supplies and staff are utilized efficiently and resourcefully. Removes obstacles to achieving clinical quality, service excellence and financial effectiveness targets.
Conducts hiring, training, directing, development and evaluation of staff. What minimum requirements you’ll need Licensure / Certification / Registration Required Credential(s): BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Education Bachelor's degree in nursing or diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required. Master's degree or combination of Bachelor's degree and experience preferred.
Work Experience 5 years of experience required. 10 years of experience preferred. 2 years of leadership or management experience required. 5 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
