Administrates the MBS Committee and oversees its activities. Develops and maintains patient care pathways and protocols. Provides education to physicians, staff, patients, and the community.

Supports the development of protocols and nursing staff education. Monitors outcomes data and provides feedback to surgeons. Identifies and gathers data for quality improvement (QI) initiatives.

Serves as a liaison between the facility and metabolic, bariatric proceduralists, and general surgeons. Collaborates with in-house departments to ensure continuity of care. Prepares for accreditation site visits and ensures readiness.

Ensures timely submission of outcomes data to the MBSAQIP Registry. Promotes communication and problem-solving among the Bariatric Medical Director, practice staff, physicians, and other directors. Other duties as assigned.
