Registered Nurse (RN) Mom/BabyBring your passion to Texas Health so we are Better + TogetherWork location: Texas Health Plano, 6200 West Parker Road, Plano, Texas 75093Work hours: Part Time, 24 Hours; 7:00pm – 7:00amMother/Baby Department highlights:· 36 bed Mother/Baby Unit· Active Unit-Based Council· Opportunities for personal growth through NCAPHere’s What You Need· Diploma in Nursing or· Associate degree from an accredited Nursing program required· BSN preferred· Other – CLIAFE Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency required· One-year experience as a clinical nurse, or completion of an RN residency program.· One year of Mother/Baby experience strongly preferred· BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly· NRP – Neonatal Resuscitation Program within 90 days required and· CPI – Crisis Intervention Training within 90 days and maintained annually required and· RN – Registered Nurse upon hire requiredWhat You Will Do· Assesses the patient· Plans the care of the patient· Intervenes as appropriate· Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions· Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care.· Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for information· Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out of hospital transfers.
