Location: Silver Spring, Maryland Position Purpose: The Clinical Nurse/Registered Nurse works in a collaborative environment at Holy Cross Health within the Observation Unit to deliver excellent patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team providing evidence-based medicine and individualized patient care. As a Registered Nurse you will : Provide direct nursing care to oncology, med/surg, and hospice patients.
Administer medications, including chemotherapy (if certified), and monitor for side effects. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive care plans. Offer emotional support and education to patients and families.
Participate in discharge planning, pain management, and palliative care coordination. Document patient progress and communicate effectively with care team
Graduation from an accredited nursing program; basic professional nursing degree (BSN) preferred. Note, if the BSN degree is not present on hire, the employee must sign an agreement to obtain a within a specific time frame. Current licensure by the Maryland State Board of Nursing or Compact State as a Registered Nurse.
BLS certification; additional Life Support training as applicable to unit requirements. At least 1 year of nursing experience in an acute care setting. $40.09-$57.35 Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The
