Full TimeShift: Monday through Friday 8am to 4:30pm AdventHealth will bring a 60-acre health and wellness campus to Lake Nona in late 2026. This location will offer medical innovations on a campus designed around whole person health with comprehensive services, destination lifestyle programs, and much more that will shape the next generation of health care. Our services include emergency services, urgent care, a wide range of medical specialists (including primary care), lab, imaging, orthopedics, sports medicine and rehabilitation. Performs and documents all procedures and assessments according to department policy. Obtains or delegates the obtaining of a nursing history and complete admission assessments, including pain screening.
Evaluates patients for age-appropriate behavior, motor skills, physiological norms, and signs of abuse or neglect. Conducts follow-up assessments and evaluations to monitor patient progress. Identifies patient teaching needs and provide education on a planned or spontaneous basis.
Administers treatments and medications, interpret and verify physician orders, and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions. Functions appropriately in clinical emergencies and investigate questionable situations.
