Registered Nurse (RN) Palliative CareBring your passion to Texas Health so we are Better + Together Work location: Texas Health Fort Worth, 1301 Pennsylvania Ave Fort Worth TX 76104Work hours: Full Time (7P-7A) for 36 hrs/week. Weekend and holiday requirementsDepartment highlights:· Patients are admitted to this 16 bed unit for chronic medical and palliative care. The patient population consist of patients with multiple acute chronic diseases requiring aggressive treatment such as Copd, Heart Failure, Pneumonia, Infectious Diseases as well as those facing end of life care.· Flexible Self Scheduling.· This unit is known for it’s teamwork and collaboration.

Here’s What You Need · Associates Degree in Nursing or Diploma of Nursing(required) BSN preferred.· Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing upon hire (required)· Current BLS prior to providing independent patient care.· CPI training within 90 days of hire (required)· One (1) year experience as a clinical nurse, or completion of an RN residency program (required)· 1+ years of experience as an Med/surg RN and end of life care preferred· Strong med/surg experience including charge/preceptor skills (preferred)
