for this position is $34.25 - $51.13/hour. Actual pay is based on years of licensure. This is an Hourly position.

OverviewPOSITION

The Registered Nurse Radiology protects, promotes and restores health and wellness by practicing at the highest level of the Registered Nurse licensure; collaborating with providers and multidisciplinary care team members to provide care coordination across the continuum. Assesses and supports physical symptoms, provides psychological support to patients, friends, and families, mentors assigned team members, promotes best practices, and maintains professional disposition at all times.

This position will be responsible for all RN duties within the Cardiology department, along with those of a Radiology nurse. Since Radiology procedures requiring a nurse are limited at our site, we use our Cardiology nurse to perform both Cardiology and Radiology RN duties. QualificationsREQUIRED

2 years’ experience as Registered Nurse in the hospital setting. Licensure/ Certification: IL Reg Nurse License. American Heart Association BLS required.

Based on OSF Entity - American Heart Association PALS and ACLS required within one year of hire. Other Skills/ Knowledge: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.

Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented. Based on OSF entity need may require after-hours call and back-up call.

BSNExperience: Previous ICU, ED, or procedural experience. OSF HealthCare is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
