Our metropolitan ED provides high quality care to a wide variety of patients, including adult and pediatric patients from the MedStar Georgetown Transplant Institute and the Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center. Additionally, MedStar Georgetown is accredited by the Joint Commission as a Comprehensive Stroke Center and receives acute stroke patients from all around the DC region. All the nurses in the Emergency Department are certified in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and are NIH Stroke Certified and many also have their CEN, TNCC, and ENPC certifications.

Full-time Fixed Night Shifts Self-scheduling; Six Week Schedules Key Responsibilities As a Clinical Nurse, you will provide skilled, compassionate care to patients and families across a spectrum of needs—from routine to highly complex. You will assess evolving patient conditions, identify actual and potential health concerns, and develop appropriate care plans. Interventions may be delivered directly or coordinated through collaboration with other members of the nursing team .

At least one year of hospital-based, emergency RN experience required. Active DC RN License and Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers required (AHA or American Red Cross). This position has a hiring range of USD $42.00 - USD $69.43 /Hr.
