You’ll need
Certifications
✓BCLS – prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required
✓ACLS – within 90 days required
✓NIHSS – within 60 days of hire
✓Texas Health HEB is ANCC Magnet® designated, Joint Commission-certified in Chest Pain (PHAC), a Primary Stroke Center, and a Level III Trauma Center.
Education
✓Associate's Degree Nursing or Nursing Diploma required
✓1 Year of experience as a clinical nurse or completion of an RN residency program required
✓In support of medical education, our Internal Medicine Residency Program—launched in 2022—has grown from 20 to 60 residents and will celebrate its first graduating class in 2025.
BSN preferred
Qualifications
✓RN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire required
✓Other - CLIAFE Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency required
✓CPI – Crisis Prevention Intervention Training – within 90 days of hire
Current ICU experience strongly preferred
